Old and low productive cattle’s act as an additional source of income for farmers. Large number of people is engaged in thriving animal rearing industry that generates livelihood opportunities for them. Govt. has not provided any infrastructural or institutional support to help either the farmers with unproductive cattle’s. As a result, farmers will tend to leave them free roaming and grazing on the fields as well as urban garbage. In the presence of goshala patron we are trying our best to aware people how to stop killing of cows for general purpose.

India is predominantly dependent on bullock power for agriculture and rural transportation. Milk is the major source of protein for both children and adults, particularly those who are vegetarians. Dung has been the main source of manure for agricultural production. Today, in spite of the heavy influence of chemical fertilizers, farmyard manure is in great demand, because of its ecofriendly benefits apart from other advantages such as easy availability, low cost, better soil moisture retention and improvement in the quality of the produce. Thus the cow in Hindu religious scripts has been referred to as “Kamdhenu” that which fulfills human needs.
